One of the perks of sharing a warehouse and president with Wheeler Machinery Sales is getting firsthand knowledge about the happening at MDNA – the Machinery Dealer National Association – as Dan Wheeler is one year into a two-year presidency for the organization. 

This year, MDNA held their annual conference 'Weekend with the Pros' here in Los Angeles, and our warehouse was one of the locations scheduled for a visit. This means we got to be part of the crew to welcome over 200 people from across the machinery sales industry. All our employees, along with their families, also got to attend. With the overlap between sales and repair, it was a great opportunity to highlight our contribution to the industry and build up our own networks. Our Service Manager, Rick McGuire, was interviewed for MDNA as well for additional insights into the industry and happenings at Dan's Machine Tool. Rick also hit the golf course to represent Dan's Machine Tool - someone has to do the hard work!

One of the goals of the evening was to sell Dan's Machine Tool and Wheeler Machinery Sales merchandise with all proceeds going to the Testicular Cancer Foundation aka 'Save the Nuts' as we like to say around here. We are happy to say we sold over $1000 worth of branded hats, shirts, and sweatshirts in just the few hours available. Want to contribute but can't make it to our warehouse? Overall, what can we say besides machine people are the best. It's seriously an honor to be a part of all of this.
